Discordian Chardonnay 2019 - Red Barn at Jagged Rock
Tasted Oct 22nd 2021
Note: It’s a complex and tranquil Chardonnay showing some likeness to Checkmate in terms of flavour profile. Very good quality, well balanced, its zen-like tranquility every lasting. Drink now.
First Impression: Pale lemon, something transcending about it. Reminiscent of Chardonnay from Checkmate, which makes sense.
Flavours: Medium intensity, quieter than those at Checkmate but can still be clearly heard. Notes of lime, orange zest, apple cider, Asian pear, hints of butter and crushed rocks.
Structure: Dry, medium acidity, medium+ creamy body, medium+ intensity, medium alcohol, medium+ finish.

Fermentation and Aging: Fermented and aged in concrete eggs, no oak treatment
