Ornellaia 2013 is one of those pleasures that you initially make excuses for but immediately found salvation from guilt.

One like a majestic “stag” roaming the vast land of the free, one like a beautiful castle floating amongst the clouds.

I feel there is still more of this wine yet to be discovered. This evolution through time was observed in this one pour which was quite fun actually.

So deep and dense yet dances on your palate with rainbows and sparkles.

A very good quality for a wine but expected more as a Classed Growth from Pauillac from a legendary vintage.
