Kenwood Jack London Merlot 2005

This wine is now with deep garnet colour showing age and maturity. On the nose It is concentrated with primarily tertiary aroma such as herbs, olive and earthy mushroom with blackberry and black cherry jam. The 2% Cabernet Sauvignon in here actually comes out more than expected, giving this wine a slightly minty and cedary notes. Tannins is thick, velvety, and rounded out by age so it lays a nice foundation for the flavours to work their way in. It is like putting premium caviar on a silver platter for all to enjoy.
